A big thank you to John and Rhonda for preparing an excellent CORE session this Saturday where we learned that by allowing our hearts to be broken only then can we let out all that is bad and in all that is good. After contemplating on this lesson I am reminded of this time of renewal we call lent. Then I thought, we must be a very special group to have been called to Retrouvaille, called to renew our marriages so that His words may be spoken and His work in our lives made evident to everyone.
From romance, to disillusionment and then on to misery can we then awaken to joy! Don’t we all have broken hearts? Haven’t we all been given a special opportunity to let light shine through the brokenness by sharing our stories? Remember, your story isn’t just about the brokenness, it is about awakening to joy! Tony and I very much appreciate that you have gone through Retrouvaille. However, we all need each other to do one more thing: WRITE. Moving thru fear can be hard, but we have a powerful factor working in our favor; each other! Even when the road is bumpy and tiresome I promise it can also be filled with joy! But we can’t experience this joy unless we take the first step.
Post 13 is coming up on March 29. This would be an excellent opportunity to share your introduction. (Page 142 of your workbook), commit to refreshing a Post Talk you have already written, or to select a Post Session to write to.
So to make the first step very, very easy, all we need you to do right now is say you will be there. If you will share your story, please let us know that too.
Please join us and our new Friday Night Couple group for Post 13. Thank you to Bob and Colleen for generously opening their home for this important event. Please come, Share your love story!
